  • How to use our products

  • What do I need in order to use PrintStick's products?

PrintStick's planners come in PDF format, which means they can be installed on any device with a PDF annotation app. We highly recommend using GoodNotes, which is free to download and available for Apple devices, but you may also use other apps. Below are some apps that are compatible with our planners.

    For Apple devices
    -GoodNotes
    -Noteshelf
    -Zinnia
    -ZoomNotes
    -CollaNote
    -Notability

    For Android devices
    -Noteshelf
    -Penly
    -Xodo

To use other elements, such as stickers, widgets, covers, etc., GoodNotes is the easiest app and almost all our sticker sets will come with a file ready to use in that app. The files ready to use in GoodNotes will have '.goodnotes.zip' at the end of their label. These files must be sent straight to GoodNotes (without unzipping).

All of our stickers, widgets and other elements will always come with pre-cropped PNG versions, which means that you are able to save these individual elements as images or 'photos' to your photos app on whichever device you are using, and any of the apps mentioned above will allow you to add these images to the pages of your planner.

Our device of choice for digital planning is Apple's iPad. If you need guidance choosing the iPad that is right for you, read this article or watch the video below

IMPORTANT: Although our products can be used on multiple apps & devices, we can only offer support if using Apple products with the app GoodNotes

  • How can I download my purchase?

Make sure you open the download links you received to your email address using the Safari app, you could've received up to several separate emails, and some may end up in the spam folder.

After downloading, go to your Files app and find the 'Downloads' folder to locate the new downloads. Tap on a file and select ‘Copy to GoodNotes’ (or your favorite note-taking app) - This will only work for the planner file (which comes in .pdf format) as well as the files that end in 'GoodNotes.zip'.

Other files like images (which will end in '.png') must be saved within the Files app, Photos, or Stixer. Then you can enter Split View with that app + your note-taking app and drag each element onto your planner pages. This will be the case for all sticker & widget packs when they are NOT being used in GoodNotes.

  • How to use stickers and widgets

Using stickers and widgets in GoodNotes
Some of our sticker books and sets as well as our widgets will come with a version ready to be used on GoodNotes. The files ready to use in this app will have '.goodnotes.zip' at the end of their label. These files must be sent straight to GoodNotes (without unzipping), and once you open you will be able to use any of the elements shown on the pages. Tap two times on the Lasso icon to open its menu, and make sure that 'Images' is turned on. Now you will be able to draw a selection on top of the sticker or element with the Lasso, then tap on that selection to select 'Copy'. Go to the page where you want to paste that element, long tap on the screen and select 'Paste'. Done!

Using stickers and widgets in other appsAll of our stickers, widgets and other elements will always come with individual, transparent PNG versions. These will come saved in a .zip file that needs to be decompressed before using. On iPad, you can go to the Files app and just tap on the .zip file to decompress it and see all the elements. From there, you can drag the icon of your note-taking app onto one side to enter Split View (you will have both your planner and the stickers showing on the screen) and then you can tap and drag on an element to add it to the page of your planner.

  • How to add extra pages

Once you have decided which extra page you want to use, you must duplicate it, and add it to where you need it. There are two ways to do this:

METHOD A - Adding on top of an existing page

1.- Decide where you will be adding your new page. You can use any of the
customizable sections or blank pages available, any of the sections that link to
My Ideas, any page of the Notebook, the Dashboard, etc.

2.- Navigate to the new page that you want to be using, and once you’re there tap on the Share and Export icon to select ‘Export This Page’. Make sure that ‘Image’ is selected, and tap on ‘Export’. Now tap on ‘Copy’

3.- Now head to the page you picked on step 1, and tap and hold on the screen to select ‘Paste’. Use the sizing wheel at the bottom corner to drag and adjust the size so the entire original page is covered by the new one. Done!

*TIP* I advise you to turn OFF ‘Images’ from the Lasso menu, so you don’t accidentaly lasso the new page when using that tool. You can always tap on the Photo/Image icon to drag and reposition your stickers and other elements.

METHOD B - Adding as a new page

1.- Navigate to the page that you will be using, and tap on the four squares at the top left corner to open the Thumbnails view. Review that the right page is selected, it will have a blue outline.

2.- Tap the little arrow below that selected page, and select ‘Duplicate’. You will see that a new, exact copy has been created.

3.- Tap and drag this new page to wherever you want to use it!

*TIP* If the new page must travel far to be located where you need it, there is an easier way to do this: When you open the Thumbnails view, tap on ‘Select’ at the top right corner, and tap on the page that must be copied (You could select & copy  multiple pages!). Then, tap on ‘Copy’. Now head to the desired location, open the Thumbnails again, and tap on the little arrow below the page to select ‘Add Page After’ - ‘Paste Page(s)’. Done! No need to reposition the new pages in this way.
